For the grown-up

These six are grouped because they share one movement, not because they sit together in the alphabet. A child who can pull a straight line down can write all six on the first day, which is a far better start than A and B, which share nothing.

Starting at the top matters more than it looks. A letter drawn bottom-up looks identical when finished and becomes very slow to write later, so it is worth correcting now while there is nothing to unlearn.

Capitals only, on purpose. They are all full height, all start at the top, and none drop below the line — three fewer things to manage while the hand is still learning to hold a line.
